My husband, Jimmy, and I retired and moved to Hiawassee about four and a half years ago. Jimmy was in sales, and I was a partner in a CPA firm in Atlanta.  We had built several homes prior to this one, and had custom cabinets in each one.  However, we needed a new cabinet source for our current home.  I had gone to some home shows and was looking at several cabinet shops down in Atlanta, when Justin, our builder, came up with a source closer to home, Moore Custom Cabinets.  After the initial meeting with John, I just liked him and believed that he could provide what we needed.  Even though we had plans and specs for the house, we didn’t have detail specs for the cabinets.  I’m very pleased with the way everything turned out.

John was great to work with.  I went to the shop a number of times, and he and I would sit at the computer  all afternoon if necessary to get the design and dimensions just right.  This was a huge benefit for me, since we had to move things around from my initial kitchen layout because of space constraints.  Additionally, John was very helpful in selecting the type of wood and stains.  He made several sample pieces for me to use in coordinating my other design choices.  When building a custom home, things are constantly being changed, but John was always willing to work with us to ensure it was a smooth process.

Timely delivery is important for any customer, but especially for us, as we had already sold our previous home and were living in temporary quarters with everything in storage.  Despite all the changes, Moore Cabinets delivered on time.  At the last minute, I realized that we hadn’t included a valance over the kitchen window, and they turned it around very quickly.  I’m very pleased with the workmanship and quality of my cabinets.  I would definitely recommend Moore Custom Cabinets.
